She has little patience for authority or rules, and will often go out of her way to subvert them. She is fiercely loyal to her allies, however, and will go to great lengths to protect those she deems worthy. She has a deep respect for nature and the balance of the wild, and will fiercely defend it from those who would seek to exploit or destroy it.

Kaldoris was born into a tribe of Tieflings who lived on the fringes of civilization, shunned by most other races. From a young age, she showed a talent for stealth and guile, and quickly rose to become one of the most skilled rogues in her tribe. However, as she grew older, Kaldoris found herself increasingly drawn to the thrill of battle, and began to train in the ways of the barbarian. She has since become a deadly combination of stealth and brute force, often striking from the shadows before charging headlong into battle. Her tribe still shuns her for her unorthodox ways, but Kaldoris has found a new family among the adventurers she now travels with.

A few years ago I made this list featuring the programs and applications I use vs the popular paid programs and the free alternatives for each of them.

This list is mostly for artists and illustrators who work in both 2D and 3D, but it also has a few other applications that could make your work easier.

My main Illustration program is Clip Studio Paint (EX), I used to paint a lot in PaintStorm (which I highly recommend) but I have been creating brushes to mimic real media and I also just got too used to paint in Clip Studio Paint that I hardly use anything else these days.

I also highly recommend you use Task Coach if you need to track your progress or if you need to charge per hour on a project,That one is very handy.

Gigapixel AI and Denoise AI are great for up scaling your work or clean them up. I used those to make old art and photo restorations and they work like a charm.

For screen recordings Streamlabs OBS is the best option, is light and easy to configure while also being free. Far, FAR better and convenient than Camtasia.

Picasa is quite an old and abandoned application but I find it much more appealing and modern than any other current similar app, I can visualize my image galleries faster and easier where I can zoom in and out with ease.

I hope you find this selection of applications useful, I will try to cover some of these a bit more in the future.

GlenFXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14181266278861429599noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21075704.post-26659141171627345012020-08-05T13:29:00.002-04:002023-04-25T17:17:41.784-04:00Rockabilly Alice - 5finity Remarkable sketch cardThis is a rockabilly Alice piece I did for 5finity's "Remarkable" sketch cards in 2019

I really liked how this one turned out and I'm tempted to do a digital painting from it.

GlenFXhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14181266278861429599noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21075704.post-33956927137885524492020-06-18T16:53:00.004-04:002023-04-25T17:22:49.384-04:00Mushroom BakerIn 2008 I made an illustration for the "Tricolor" magazine about how fungus spores help make bread so I drew a mushroom inspired by the Muppet's Cheff character for it but since then I have been with the idea to make a new version.

This time I was also inspired by the designs on "The Dark Crystal" and gave the body some organic shapes.

I started working on a few pastel goth halloween girls featuring my Pludoz creatures, and selling them as T-shirts and stuff on Redbubble and Teepublic.
For this piece I wanted to do a small homage of George Petty's girls holding the phone, but modernizing it to use current smart phones.

I just found a sketch I did in 2015 and never posted it. I was sketching lots of aliens and "retro galaxy girls" at the time, never posted much about it.
I really miss working on paper and drawing for myself.

This is a tribute I made for the game DeathSpank. The character has great writing and a memorable voice, I specially love a dialogue at the end of DeathSpank 2 where he cries his lungs out about not wanting to die, it's one of the most hilarious moments in gaming (at east for me). So I chose the final setting of DeathSpank 2 for this tribute.

Esta pieza de práctica la hice por diversión.
Tengo este personaje que se trata de una policía intergaláctica y quise hacerla haciéndole bullying a un tiburón en un parque terrestre (tipo Sea World
Emoticono wink
).

I made this piece for fun.
I have this intergalactic cop character and thought it would be fun to make a scene with her kind of bullying a shark dude in a "Land World" (Sea World) park.

This is a tribute I made for another classic adventure game, this time it's about Full Throttle from Lucas Arts.
I chose this scene for several reasons, for me the bike fighting in the old mine road is one of the toughest parts of the game, so I wanted to portray Ben after he was able to conquer the fights in the mines and thought it would be fun to display some of the weapons he gained and used in those fights.
I also wanted to use the GUI's skull and figured it would be great as a belt buckle.
